Default Warning chime when headlights left on

Anyone have a the same problem were when the lights are left on and the driver door is opened an alarm chime is supposed to warn you to turn them off. Well my warning chime seems to be broken since i both the car and between myself and the wife we've run the battery flat a few times which has been a pain.

Can anyone help please. I've no idea where to start looking for the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you activated the parking lights by accident, often indicating to get on your drive will do this, you turn onto the drive on full lock, dont straighten up cancelling the indicator, parking lights will be on, I think you get a single chime, definately not continuous.

Mine gives something like 2 or 3 loud bleeps, which is much louder than the headlights left on warning.

That's what I was asking - I was just a little surprised that it's in the driver's door module and not the CIM. Thanks.
