    Default Brakes and Network Q

Is it right, that if your car is under network Q, that e.g during a service if they notice the discs or pads worn, they should replace them under the warranty?
    Cheers Pete

Yep, that's how it certainly used to be - brakes covered under Net Q for wear. They'd have to know you had Net Q cover when it went in for service for them to be able to obviously do that.

Not sure if the brakes are still covered with Net Q - your policy document will confirm that.

Every Network Q car I've had has needed discs and pads under warranty. The Vectra's NetworkQ doesn't cover brakes, only clutch for some reason.

That's different again - previously NetworkQ was unlimited miles in the first year. Just checked mine again, definately only clutch covered ontop of manufacturer's warranty.

They (brakes) were definitely covered in the past and I wasn't sure if they had changed the terms since.

Tadpole - what date is your Net Q policy start date?

_ZS_ - I take it yours is a fairly recent one?

Hmm, so it's a reasonably recent one then. I wonder if _ZS's a newer policy and they started to drop the brakes coverage at some point then. Off to look at the Net Q site....

Well clear as day on the home page - http://www.networkq.co.uk/nq/home.do - it says brakes as well. Detailed here.

I wonder if it's a different policy in NI?

Its always been limited to the first year or 20K miles for brake pads and discs, requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear
Unless they become faulty in which they are replaced irrespective of mileage, and under the normal terms of the policy
