Default Help me decide what car is best for my Fiancée

Right since we have moved out of our parents house my Fiancée has started to do alot more miles and is now looking to change over to a Diesel her current car is a 1.2 corsa life her Previous car was a 2ltr Pug 206 CC and she loved it.

We are now looking at either a Pug 206CC 1.6 HDI or a Vauxhall Tigra 1.3 CDTI

Whats both good and bad points on this car?

Shes not to sure if she wants another 206cc as her last one was top spec and if this one does not meet min requirements she will not like it.

The only thing with a Tigra is the 0-60 times that bothering me 15 secs compared to her 1.2 corsa 13 secs she wants something with a bit of punch so she does not have to worry about pulling off at the lights like with the corsa.
I would have thought the 1.3 cdti will feel like it pulls more as it has alot more Torque and would get to 30 mph quicker but I have not test drove one yet.

Whats your thoughts please people I have posted a Poll between the 2 just to see what peoples thoughts are

My mrs has a 1.4 petrol and it's really economical even with her lead boots. It's a nice little car, just about to get it serviced, done nothing but put oil, water and petrol in it in 2 years.

206cc prevalent with problems and the history on the roof operation is abysmal !! hdi is new spec so will be full multiplexed - if you pm me the registration i can check the warranty history recorded with peugeot
so you will know if its had any history

this goes for any peugeot / landrover /citroen /ford - (and jaguar as of 1st of april !! )

i've been doing warranty assesment/control for the psa group for nearly 7 years... i can buy a french car really cheap and i drive a signum !!
and my wife drives a legacy

this offer is open for anyone by the way

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
