Default Starting to get some good cleaning kit together now...

Got my meguiars clay kit yesterday, along with foam applicators. Today was the arrival of the collinite #915 wax with 2 more applicators and 3 micro-fibre cloths. In talks with auto-brite also sorting out my lance and snowfoam along with some other goodies. Roll on the nice weather now is all i say haha(if we get any that is)

You must get one Robbie. Got mine from Mark at Autobrite last year and it's brilliant. I need it too with a black car. Helps break down the crud before i attack it with the wash mits. Usually give it 2 to 3 coats of foam before washing by hand...............as i've just been doing!

PM Mark and see what deal he can do for you. Recently ordered a load of stuff and did me a great deal.

will do, so how does it work, do you rinse car, put on snow foam, rub it in then wash car with buckets or what? I could do a search but I can't be arsed!

Pressure wash of most of the crud.

Apply snow foam and let it dwell for about 10 mins.

    Pressure wash off.

    Repeat if very dirty.

    Then the 2 bucket method.

Don't apply the foam and then work it in with a wash mitt as it doesn't remove all the dirt, just the majority of it. If it was strong enough to do this then it would end up removing the wax too!

Oh I see, I haven't got one up until now as I can use a pressure washer at my house, drive not near house and cars always parked out front and can't stand in the raod. My mother in law just got a new Karcher and says I can use it anytime. Nice and FREE just how I like it!

Thanks for the advice, i'll get one once i've got some cash! Spent enough this month!
