    confused My ongoing leak saga...

Firstly thanks for all of the help you guys have provided already.

    Right...
Good news. I know where the water is coming from
Bad news. I can't figure out how it's getting there

    Ok, here goes.

I have had a very wet front and back passenger side foot wells.

I have removed all of the side trim on the passenger side of the car so can see most of the body.

The water is entering the foot well from under the dash. I have taken the clove compartment out and basically stuffed every hole I can see with kitchen roll. The piece of paper in a square hole on the left hand side gets soaked.

I know that is a bit vague, so I will try to describe the location a bit better.

I have removed the trim on the left side of the passenger foot
well and the glove compartment, on the left, immediately below what looks like an ECU there is a tubular metal square shaft, about an inch and a half long. This is where the water comes out. See circled area in this photo:

    Ok, here's the confusing part...

When I get into my car after it has been raining all of the paper is dry. I gently pull away to the right, then turn sharply left, as I do this I hear loads of water swishing (is that a real word?) along somewhere to the right hand side of the car. I then take a sharp right and it all goes to the left and then pours out of the hole (in picture). Before any one says it, it isn'r the scuttle, I have been checking this constantly, and have now removed the two rubber 'Drainage' pipes to stop this getting blocked up.

If I look behind the dash, I cannot see anywhere that the water could flow from Right to left, as there isn't anything that goes across the gap where the glove compartment should be, also it is very odd as there is nothing above the hole where the water could come from.

I'm getting very confuddled by this now, any help or ideas anyone has would be very gratefully received.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Trev

Whoops, should be glove. I'm sure that cloves in a car is just going to stink beyond belief!
