    Default call from vx dealer.

    had a strange call earlier from my vx dealer he asked me if i was interested in selling my car as they are strugling to find suitable stock for their forecourt.curious to go and see what they offer (2006 1.8 design nav)but i think it will be a low offer and what car would i buy to replace my vectra with its high spec.? anyone else had a call or taken a simlar offer?

    Had that m8, they are trying to sell you a car as they are stuggling. You can bet your bottom dollar there is no-one looking for your car after all why would they need you to come to them? Look on autorader m8 bet you there are loads of your model for sale.

    This happened to a work mate. However he told me it was back in the day when he owned a Vauxhall Nova. The Vx dealer called him, made an offer, bought his Nova and sold it on. So at some point in the distant past Vx dealers must have genuinely employed this tactic. But to use it in today's climate seems desperate.
