Ordered it back October but eventually received my new Insignia today !!!
Technical Grey 160 Diesel Elite with VXR styling, bluetooth, SatNav, Flexride and 220V power socket.
So far I'm really impressed. The car looks great and I love the colour and VXR kit which is subtle but definitely improves the front end. The seats are great and very comfortable. No issues with the performance of the 160 Diesel and Flexride tweeks the throttle response nicely.
SatNav is a major improvment over the CD70 and I really like the 3D view (2.5 actually). Only problem is that it only has 4/5 digit postcode which is poor.
Build quality is good overall, but I have noticed an annoying sqeek in the dash, but hopefully that will dispear otherwise it will need looking at.
The only complaints so far are minor, such as the auto folding mirror option doesn't appear to work. It worked intially but now doesn't, it also doesn't appear to unfold when the car is opened, strange?
A flawed option is the auto move of the driver seat back when you remove the key. The first part works, but from I can see you have to manually move the seat back when you get in.
The audio system is good, the speakers could be better but i'm not dissapointed. I've tried a 4GB memory stick and it works. When changing tracks it shows the file name before showing the track details, so you need to make sure the file names are meaningful.
A couple of options in the manual are missing, such as auto door relock and fixing the dash lighting colour.
The high beam assist works well and it's strange having the high beam come on its own. I really like the cornering lights which come on at low speed and when you indicate.
The rear window is really small!! I had read this in the reviews so wasn't surpised. Door mirrors look cool, but the odd shape makes them a little difficult to position and use.
