    Default 4 New Tyres

I've had to have 4 new tyres fitted this afternoon, so I've gone for

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta all round, and changed from 215/50/17 to 225/45/17

    http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vr...c-Sessanta.htm

They have got some really good ratings on the TyreReviews website. They have worked out at roughly the same price as the Falken FK452's I was looking at from Camskill, as having to get them fitted and balanced plus valves, there is about £5 per corner difference.

The Vredestein are £96 each from Camskill, and I've had them for £100 a corner fitted!

Initial impressions are very good. There is a lot less road noise on these, but only done 6 miles on them, so still a fair bit left before they bed in.

Anyone else have these fitted? What sort of mileage have you got out of them? I need to replace my worn out Goodyear GSD3's which have only lasted 10,000 miles on the front of my 2.2 Elite.

EDIT. Just seen a couple of reviews on that site where other people have said the GSD3 hasn't lasted very long on their cars either.
