    Angry Watchdog anyone??

    Hi Guys,

Just been told to pfo by vauxhall in relation to the swirl valve inlet manifold problem. So now I`m wondering if anybody that has had this issue would like to help me get some information together to maybe get in contact with watchdog as it is a commonly known design fault!

ANybody interested, might plaster this round the astra owners, saab 93 forums as well. Well and truely pi$$ed off to the max today. Also found out that my coil spring is broken as well. Gonna be a sore month!

Probably, but then i don't have a diesel, so no swirl valve issues either. I wonder if the spring failures and diesel engines are related

tbh I think the swirl valve is a pain in the 4r5e, as from what i have read the second inlet valve of the 150 is solely dedicated to this valve which mixes the air as it rushes into the cylinder - what happened to plain and simple 16V engines?

Apparently the actuator is the issue but some people have experienced some sort of link falling out of the engine?
