    confused front bumper fitment

how many fixing and where exactly are they?

mine keeps pooping out abit on the passenger side. every time i push it back in, then check after a journey it has popped out again.
    see pic

i have found three torx screw in each arch - all present and correct.
opened bonnet and where the grill would go down to when closed there is a plastic stud? on one side and nothing on the other.- popped a temporary fixing there yesterday- (made no difference) the plastic studs dont seem to hold the bumper in postion very well.
looked under car- ther is like a built in under tray on the bumper which is fixed with 3 studs.

have i missed anything???? any other fixings or tips.
i can see the bumper has been sprayed at sometime in the past as there is a bit of overspray on the rubber below the headlight.

so i'm hoping it just hasnt been fitted properly.

    help before i go mad!!!

Is the bumper knocking against the paint on the wing or is there plenty of clearance? Just asking because if it were rubbing, I would be concerned about corrossion setting in on the longer term.

On my car (facelift) there are

2 x 2 Torx in each Wheel arch
4 Torx bolted to the slam panel or the bit near it
and there are 4 plastic rivets underneath (

All in all 12 "bolts" holding it on

meant to add if you look at my pic there is a raised bit on the bumper about an inch or so along from the headlight onto the wing, this is the bit that pops in and out. is it meant to be catching on something?

In the wheel arch there are 2 each side

Lift up the bonnet and just above the end of the silver " V " there are 2 each side

Under the car the bumper extends slightly, there are plastic rivers in there at the edge that can be pulled out with long nose pliers

On the corner where yours is sticking out, what holds it in place is a guide rail thing - black plastic fitting riveted to the car that the edge of the bumper snaps into, it's just held in place by friction. Yours either need a really good thump with the palm of your hand to get it to seat properly. If it still keeps popping out then it may mean the guide rail has lost it's grip over time.

Mine had the same problem and what I did was replace the guide rail - drilled out the rivets holding the guide rail in place and riveted in a new one from the dealers. That sorted it.

If you pop off your bumper you'll see exactly the bits I'm referring to.

EDIT: Just remembered I bought new guide rails for both sides but in the end only needed to use one. I've got the other one in the garage, I'll pop up a pic of it in a second.
