    Wink Engine bay detailing

    i used gunk engine clean from halfords.
    and auto glym vinyl & rubber care.










    what do you think i was very pleased with the result.

    Looking great there Nick just needs some hose covers and a bit of polish on the paint (cos VX dont laquer them ) and it will be a show stopper !!!!!!!!!

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    yes i noticed this the paintwork isn't laquered shame really cus it would look really bling ,i'm looking at some samco hoses so watch this space.

    You can polish the paint up with a bit of elbow grease i did it on Lou's car and it looked very good !!!!

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    i'll give that a go then chris and see wot the results are like.i was thinking about doing under the hood aswell but theres some sound proofing there would it make much of a difference if i removed it.?

    I took it off to polish the bonnet but yet again VX have cut corners and not painted under it so i just polished round it and put it back on also if i was you i would colour code you battery box and fuse holder to match your engine cover !

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    That looks real clean,I always try to wipe round my engine bay when I wash the car, It looks nice when " you could eat your dinner off it", and it is easyier to do if cleaned regularly.
