Default Any Idea What's She's Worth?

    Hi folks.

It looks like I am going to sell my C but I don't know what I can realistically expect to get for her.

    Spec:

    3.2 V6 Elite 2003 03 plate
    Full light tan leather interior
18 Toora T970 with 225/40/18 - only been on car for 2 months - immaculate
Professioanlly colour coded front, side and rear skirts
    Irmscher grill
    Irmscher boot spoiler
    Irmscher door pins and pedals
Irmscher steering wheel and gear surround trim
    Sri front smoked lights
    Sri rear smoked lights
    Gsi springs
Professioanlly tinted windows all round. Subtle tint.

    Full Vauxhall service history
    24000 miles

She is three years old later this month and has just been MOT'd.

Car is immaculate and I will be very sorry to part with her but needs must.

Some pics to give you an idea:

So, does anyone have a clue how much I should be looking for?

    Cheers

    JKA

Low mileage and good spec, what was she new?

An average mileage car would retain 30-40% of value at most after 3 years but with the extras and the low mileage you could start asking at 50%.

This is what the Vx website says -

    Vauxhall Vectra Elite
    3.2 Petrol 4-door Saloon
5 Speed Manual Front Wheel Drive
    Year: 2003 03
    Mileage: 24,000

    Part-exchange Price:
    Excellent condition: £7930
    Average condition: £7110
    Below average condition: £6240

But this is the Part Ex price!! With all the work you've done to this you'd be better selling privately, so surely you must be looking at well over 8k.

Their having a laugh if they think the average mileage for a three year old car is only 20K! More like 30K-36K.

But about 50% like I said, ask for 10K and see if you get any offers.

    wow looks great

but may be worth trying to get it to standard or near too, things like the grill, alloy pedals, and wheels look great but to some people its a bit of a off put.

saying that you could sell them with a PX deal here on Vectra -C, get a few quid extra. even if you sold the car with the extras on you would not get any extra for them.

You need to sell it though a specialised seller mate, it's a 3.2 V6 so already your market is only for the brave and those who really want a big lump'd car, on the surface of it, it's probably going to be a big loss in the pocket to you, but if you try eBay,Max Power etc 1st you might snag a keen buyer.

    Car looks a peach btw.

Stunning car mate. But best bet is remove the mods and sell as standard.

As Drinky says around £7.5k best. It is a Vectra. I bought my CDTi 1.9 150bhp SRi Estate (Breathe!!!) for £11k 6 months ago. On a 54 plate.

These days the market seems to be, everyone wants a diesel.

Would definetly agree that putting it back to standard as far as pratical would result in more cash overall. Say £8k for the car, add £300 for the extras, where as you could £500 for the wheels on their own (if not more depeneding on condition). plus say £50 for the grille, £30 for the pedals etc etc.

sometimes a modded car puts people off, even when they intend to do the same as they prefer a "clean base" to start on. it all depends on if you have the original parts and the time to do it.

P.S. if you do decide to sell the wheels - please give me first shout - they are awesome!
