    Default Megs Wheel Brighner

Got a sample of megs wheel brightner last week from Johnny at Clean n Shiny..used 6:1 dilution and wheels come up great..would of been better with a pressure washer to be more effective but a great product!..still got 2/3 of the sample and got loads left in my spray bottle still..
also used megs endurance tyre gel..seems a bit sticky though!..do I need to wipe it off?..it has been left overnight but still seems quite wet!

i think the best way to apply endurance gel, according to steve, is to apply one coat, leave it half hour, apply another coat, leave it again, and wipe off.

HOLY **** !!!!! Under no circumstances leave wheel brightener on yoru alloys for any length of time. All those who went on the detailing day will confirm, its an ultra strong acid and will eat into your laquar. Even applying it on warm wheels is a no go as the water evoporates at a different rate than acid so it etches your paint.

As its so strong, its only for use on very mucky wheels, and very infrequent. Once your wheels are clean (and waxed) the brake dust will just wash off with normal shampoo.

Go get it washed off ASAP mate!!!

Edit… misread your post.. So ignore me. The infrequent use still applies though

Tyre gel, if its still wet, you used too much, just wipe it off with a cloth. Its best to apply with a sponge, eg a kitchen sponge pad normally works out cheapest and about the right size too
