Hand brake recall + Turbo

I have a 2004 2.2dti elite that needed a handbrake recall which I must admit I did not do when originaly highlghted.

However a recent problem in that area has highlighted the need for the spring to be fitted to the handbrake.
What I wasnt aware of is that my car also has an outstanding recall on "turbo calibiration". What will this be?

Its booked in for next Wednesday at the nearest Vaux' dealer.They say its only an hour for both jobs.

the calibration recall is just a software update for the ecu carried out with tech 2. it's to stop the engine management light coming on due to an overboost problem. ive come across this problem mainly when people are driving under heavy acceleration for a long time, the ecu is to sensitive and causes a trouble code ( p 0234 negative boost pressure deviation) to be stored and power is reduced. there isnt actually a fault, it just thinks there is!

i hav just had my hand brake today and the next thing was they said u need some other jobs doin and we can do them now, i said leave it and just do the recall so anyone just be carefull when u take it in

The handbrake spring takes about 5mins...had it done yesterday morning after weeks of the Vx dealer saying i wasnt in the code bracket for it, an now i suddenly am...
