Honestly.....
Out of all my motors...
Diesel Fiesta,
Rover 214
VW BORA
1.4 Focus
1.4 Fiat Brava,
406 Pug
1.4 Honda Civic
Vectra...
I wont count the vectra.... but the most fun... the most reliable... and well maybe the not best looking of cars... was.....
The Rover 214 ... It just flew!! It was faster than my mates Golfs etc etc etc.... was very impressive!
When i was 19 i owned a C registered escort rs turbo series one. This came with approx £6000 worth of receipts for work done on it. It had been re-bored, cammed, chipped, biggre turbo, you name it it had been done all at collins performance engineering. I had it rolling roaded and it got a print out with 218bhp. This car was silly fast and the most fun car ive had to drive, sitting at lights in my c reg escort next to some poser in his big beemer or merc and then leavin them for dust was the best.. it was the non custom therefore it had wind up windows and no sun roof, i believe these was the ones they used for rallying as the body shell was firmer with there bein no sun roof in them, was white as you wud expect, straight thru 4" scorpion exhaust that made some noise!! basically it was the muts nuts.. and at 19 i felt it haha.. my mates drivin round in nova 1.2's, one had a volvo 340 haha.. worst thing i ever did was trade it in against a j reg rs2000... bad decision

would have to say the vecb i got rid of before the c i have now
2000 AUDI A3 1.8 T, Great little car! BUT cost me 2k in six weeks in repair bills! OUCH so when we had our first child I had to get rid as it was too small.
I would have to say it was probably the Octavia Vrs I had as a company car. It was a new model and nobody could conceive of a fast Skoda.
Left quite a few of the local boy racers in shock, I can tell you........

Most fun was my MG ZR+120. It was on 17" alloys and was lowered to the point it nearly scraped the ground. Was quick in a stright line and was like a Kart around the corners
the most fun was an RS Turbo Escort series 1, in white, C reg. it was only 3 years old at the time, and as was commonplace at the time, some scrote stole it when i'd only owned it 9 months. stripped it/dumped it = write off.
My 1961 Mini 850cc went from John O'Groats to lands End & it was lot's of fun. A 1600 GT Capri was nice but had a family at this time & after black ice said goodby to it. Quite a few in between but have to say the Vectra 'B' (I had three) still had a lot going for it so the 'C' had better perform. I am just getting the feel of it as not so many miles covered these days. ...
fiat coupe, 220bhp as standard and over 155mph 0-60 in a little over 6 sec, was fantastic, after I got used to the tourqe steer. However my signum cdti runs approx 170bhp is fairly quick but goes around corners like its on rails, lowered on PI springs and expensive dunlop rubber I know I will get some greif but the most exiting car I've owned is a Ford Escort RS2000 mk6 only 150bhp but it felf fast very fast, untill it blew up in Germany, engine that is
