    Default is this gear any good?

    ok well i wanna buy myself some descent products to get my car looking good. Ive only ever bought like cheaper end products in the past and just basically washed dried and waxed my cars. Ive seen this meguiars stuff on ebay and wanted to know what it is like, i will post the links below to what im thinkin of getting, pls leave comments good or bad about the items as all your advice is hugely appreciated..

    i aint a pro but i used all of this stuff and thought it was quite good. wouldn't mind seeing what the rest think.

    clay kit is a must
    3 stage megs is good but dont bother using number 3 use your own wax
    i have the wash mit and i hate it as it dont foam up
    never used the water magnet

    yep nothing wrong with that, just get your self sorted with two bucket method, happy days

    what wax wud u reccommend then as ive only got cheap turtle wax at the min so i thought this stuff wud be a lot better?? so u think a sponge is better than the mit then?

    this 2 bucket method i take is just basically one bucket with your warm water and shampoo in and another just water so rinse the sponge/mit each time you use it? ie shampoo - wash - rinse - shampoo - wash - rinse etc

    i use chemical guys 50/50 and it looks like glass once done, and the next time you wash it the water runs off the car like its been smeared with lard lol, very good stuff

    shame your not closer or i would of let you had a go on mine
