    Default cost of lowering car

    thinking about it, what sort of money should i be looking at puttin to one side to buy the springs and have them fitted? still unsure whether to do it or not so just interested in what cash i will need if i decide to go ahead

    £110 for PI springs, couple of hours labour to fit unless you can get a kind member to help for free.

    does it become a very bumpy harsh ride or is it not much different to riding round on the snowies?? u still clear speed bumbs and that ok without catching anything on them

    clearence is fine, it is bumpier but I drive round with the wife and kids and she doesn't complain. Nice smooth roads are fine it's just pot holes you need to steer clear of, it certainly wasn't as bumpy as I was expecting though!

    im tempted to, most of my old cars have been lowered, just when i got this as im gettin older i liked the comfort of it after my old golf gti was like a bone shaker lol, lowered on 17's..

    where did you get yours springs from? have u upgraded your shockers too or just using the standard ones?
