I've used Autobrite wheel cleaner in the past and sealed my alloys,so all i use now is APC and they come up a treat, there is lots of makes around The Bilberry very cherry i think its called has good reviews too,do a google search for Bilberry or Auto brite and you'll have lots of choice, good luck......
Snow foam em first, wash then spray with Autoglym alloy cleaner leave for 10 mins, agitate witha brush or rough sponge. clean off
i just use soapy water and elbow greese as i dont trust anything else on my snowflakes
CIF
give it a try, it works a treat, and leaves the wheels gleaming, and it MUCH cheaper than alloy wheel cleaner
only one I would buy is wonder wheels, after seeing a few being used & nothing came close. However it is known to be quite harsh, so if your alloys are old/beginning to flake avoid!
auto glm intensive tar remover is superb for this and removing any glue/sticker/tar residue.
That's the only one I wouldn't buy. lol
I used Chemical guys TFR diluted 20:1 (That's all it needed) to remove baked on cow muck and tar spots on some Irmscher alloys. Very Cherry wouldn't shift it which is a first.
I'd use WW as a one off but loads and loads and loads and loads and loads of water afterwards same as the TFR. WW is very strong.
Apply a decent wheel wax or sealent afterwards and they will be much easier to clean next time.
