    Default Yay, just got my locking nut removed

    car has just been to the garage to get the snapped locking nut removed..they had to weld a bolt on the top and crank it off...£30 for removal
    and got a key from vxl for £30just watch with my luck I will try to remove the rest and snap it again(last time I go to kwik fit..damn windyguns)

    oh and now I can get on with the drop links and ar bushes front and rear... phew

    Must be carefull with them guns mate.

    My mate has a B and they done the same to his. Only when replacing the bolts they threaded 4 out of 5 of them.

    He noticed when he went round the roundbout and the wheel flew of down the road!
    Recked this wing and alloy wasnt to clever ither!

    i just drill the ******s untill nearly at the thread and then unscrew them with a driver. easy peasy well saves £30 anyway

    Just had to get a new one from Vx as my last one was used via an airgun from a garage i wont be going to again after i specifically said please dont use an airgun, left my car with them an i got back as they were putting last wheel on....with an airgun

    They had also managed to break the lock nut, so they gave me the £30 to get a new one off Vx
