    Default Wing mirrors

    Lo all,
The wing mirrors on the Vec C, on UK/ right hand drive cars, looks to me like the drivers side mirror sits out further than the passenger side?

So would this be the case on left hand drive cars? Ie drivers side sit out more than passenger side?

was thinking of getting a passenger one off a left hand drive if that was the case and fitting to my drivers side as i recon they sit out too far, plus they don't look symetrical looking head on

As you can see, that is correct !

I would not do that; you will have no view to the back. Try this: sit in your passenger seat at the same height and distance as you would sit in your drivers seat... ask someone else to adjust the passenger mirror until it is ok for you... you will see that it is not possible

Btw, most cars have this difference...

ok cheers for that, i will give it a try

another thing i don't like about the driver side wing mirror is the fact its not a solid mirror, rather the last 1/4 of the mirror (tip) is different reflection - would prefer just plain mirror tbh

you mean the 'dead angle' part ? That is something I don't wanna miss, but you can easily replace this with a stick on aftermarket mirror
