Seat belt problem

My driver's side seat belt won't budge from where it is.

Last night, I got into the car, and started to put the belt on. I pulled it enough to strap myself in, but then it just jammed, and wouldn't move anymore, so I just strapped it in, and went home, and though I'd deal with it later.

But this morning, it was still the same, and I can't get it to budge, so I have a bit slack on the seatbelt so I can just say get into the car, but I can't get anymore slack, so I can't lean forward, so if I was to crash, I'd be in trouble.

I tried a few things, but it doesn't seem to go back in, or pull anymore out. The only thing it does, is the little button to move the setbelt up and down, and that's it!

Any ideas?

Sounds broekn to me keith,i'd get it back to the dealer pretty sharpish.....

Oh noes.

It was working fine when I went out, then when I got back in the car to go home, it broke lol. I was felling around a bit, and there's a panel at the bottom. Is it worth taking it off, and having a look?

Always worth taking it out and have a look m8,i know sdemps had a problem with his seatbelt last week and needed a new one,so good luck m8,hope its get sorted,keep us posted........

am sure there wasa recall for seat belts??

I took the panels off to have a look, and couldn't see anything, so put them back on. Was stuck from then until last night, and this morning, I got into the car, and the seat belt was back to normal.

Can anyone confirm a recall, so I can get it booked in, and get it changed, before it happens again?
