Phoned AF to change my policy from my Astra to my new Vectra. Initially quoted about £650.

Went on gocompare and was quoted £485 (by Renault Insurance!). Phoned AF back and they looked around for an hour and phone me back and matched the gocompare quote

I have to admit, I thought they'd come down a bit but I wasn't expecting to get matched.

Another very happy customer.

well phone them back with your cheapest quote and ask them if they can do anything for you.

never used them always found they were not the cheapest quote for me but well done for getting them to price match

I'm with Swiftcover. Before that, I was with Barclays for 2 years. On my 1st renewal with them, the price was quite high. I couldn't be bothered with comparison sites/ringing around, so I rang them and told them a made up figure (based on what I thought I should pay), which they matched

I should be an actuary with those instincts!
