Discs needed

Hi, my vec c 2.0 Dti needs new front discs, anyone know how much and best place to get them, thanks

No, its an 03 reg, just out of warranty, but how much are the vx ones out of interest?

They were very reasonable at one time, you could but a complete kit of 4 discs and pads for about £80, but the last time I priced up for the Omega they wanted somewhere in the region of £250 as seperate items.

Have you got a local car spares shop the one that I tend to use is very reasonably priced,

Be carefull with motor factor discs mate, unless the prices are so wide apart it will be a waste of time and money using them, they will wear quicker than GM ones and wont be as good, and if you are really unlucky you could get some that will crack if they get to hot.

Give VX a try m8 you might be surprised last discs i bought from them were for a veccy "B" 2.6 and they did a kit of front discs and pads all for about £70 all in, they may do a similar thing for the "C"

If you can get vx ones at the right price that is the best option. I put some non vx ones on my wifes vectra be last year and they have been very good so far, they have as yet not shown excessive wear, and my wife tends to break to late in my opinion,so you would think the would be worn.
