    To fit

What do you guys think is a good quote and time to do these? I'm off to find a garage in the next 30mins or so, so any and all answers will be a good place to start...

    Cheers,

I took it to around 10 garages! Ranging from Kwik Fit to the little independents... Most wouldn't touch the springs or parts that I have bought even thou they are from VAUXHALL(!) (Gutted)

One garage did take the time to look at the steering play, they gave me the possible routes and said the worst case is "Steering Rack" itself... Any ideas how much that would hit me??? (Gulp) They couldnt quote without putting her on the ramp for the rest of the bits.

So I've booked it in with them for next wednesday to have everything done. I need it done before May, MOT time, as it would surely fail, but to be honest I don't think it'll be safe to wait until May.

I've read that its never the steering rack that goes it'll be the tie rods but if you did need one i'd say in excess of £300 for one,so get a second opinion before committing yourself, good luck m8.........
