Ronnie. 0p-com code reader is brilliant pc based. Better than snap-on . tells you all you need to know and you can print out report. And all codes relate to VX codes .

I don't think he'll be looking at Op-COM again given this post - and just as a reminder before anyone posts anything up - http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70975

re: the above link think the modderator who wrote that link dont really know what hes on about ?

reason is, ive purchased a op-com kit from ebay, brand new for £73 delivered, not £200+ like you say....and its 100% genuine and i recieve free updates as they are released ???

not a cracked or hacked version, so although your a modderator, you shouldnt post and close the post before you know that what your saying is 100% correct.

Err, no - you're the one that really doesn't know what they're talking about and shouldn't post up talking drivel and making false accusations.

What you've bought is not a genuine version of Op-COM, it's a copied/cracked version. I'm assuming you didn't need to ring up the distributor and get an activation code for the software by giving them your hardware key? No, I guess you didn't. As for the free 'updates' - well that can only either be future cracked versions of newer releases or, as is more likely to be the case, you'll never see anything more from that seller.

Op-COM sells for around €700 so how the hell do you think a 'new' version on eBay for £70 could possibly be genuine?

The stuff on eBay is copied and cracked and the interfaces are churned out in a factory in China.

The genuine Op-COM is found here, along with other info.

As I'm one of their customers, I actually rang the UK distributers (Ilexa) of the software (sold here as Vaux-COM) who you'll see listed at the bottom of that screen as the UK distributor, and had a good chat about Op-COM and what was sold on eBay and he confirmed everything that has been said and what has been posted above and in other posts.

Soooo, before you come on here spouting off accusations and drivel, go and check your facts first!! Enjoy your copied version of Op-COM and how long till it mucks something up on your car? I personally think anyone that plugs a cracked version of this software into their car to program/diagnose it is completely and utterly mad!! Gawd knows what it may screw up - more often than not parts of it simply don't work but what if it decided to program something and stop half way? You could be left with a useless ECU. Ah well, your gamble!!

if it aint legit..... hmmm how then do i receive an update roughly once or twice a year ???

and yes i do have to activate it by phoning a telephone number and giving them my email, computer id and something else,im at work at the minute so cant quite remember exactly, so unless im talking to some bloke of ebay with a keygen....... i think its genuine, and im using the 2009 software at the minute..... and that aint even cracked yet as far as i know !

im probably wrong and its fake, but the fake ones usually use a keygen or a patch, mine doesnt ???

and when i go into the setting page, it says WORKSHOP DETAILS : Auto-M3 Ltd 1154 Budapest Tompa Mihaly Str . 76

but the cracked version i used before was blank ???

and it was a op-com 070209 where as the newest one i use is 090420

im sure its genuine ???? who am i talking to then when i phone Ilexa ?

    cheers, lollypop
