    Question courtney panel filter

    is anyone using the above mentioned filter,and does it benefit the performance of the car.(going into a 2.2).just running standard panel at the moment.

    I think its just the Pipercross filter branded as Courtney. Better than an old paper filter - some would say. Better than a new one IMO, get it ! Not a lot in it between Pipercross & K&N - get whichever is cheaper.

    Just taken my Courtenay one out after 8k miles (GSi 3.2), for now anyway. Just going to see if a new std paper filter improves the MPG. Haven't noticed any difference in performance yet but the induction roar is now a lot less.

    Having said all the above, will probably end up putting the Courtenay back in.

    Why did I bother writing this post, I don't know.
