Look in your owners book, it'll show or have a stamp of the dealership that first had. HTH

But if its the "car pass" you want then that'll cost around £22 to get a again and takes a week or so for the card. Any VX parts centre can call the original garage and ask for the code and you'll get it for free... Thats what I did whilst waiting the week for the card to come.

Look and see if the dealer name is on the number plates.

Try taking it into a VX parts centre and asking them to search via the details you have on the V5, chasis number/VIN etc. That should lead you somewhere right? (Only a guess). Is it the key "cut" number you need or the immobiliser?

My local locksmith worked out cheaper than stealers for a new key so i went with him but because i had no car pass he can get the code within 48hrs from vx because he is a registered locksmith.Know they are telling him the systems are down so he asked me if i knew wich dealer the car came from thinking they might have the codes on file hence sorting it out quicker but that never happens for me
