    Default Who's got a 2.0 T????

Been looking around for a veccy recently, preferably with Sat Nav. Was looking at a 2.2 direct Sri but would be grateful of any coments from 2.0 T owners as to reliability and performance?

    Cheers

I have a 2.0T Signum, havent had any problems at all. I dont think I've heard anyone on here complain about the z20net engine. It's ripe for a remap etc as soulman says. Although, even standard, it still shifts my cars weight.

I have had mie for 4 years now no real problems apart from 2 gearboxes 1st replaced under warranty lost 5th and 6th then 2nd one put in lasted only a month (may just of been a fault in that box) current ones been fine for nearly over 2 years now. Want to get a remap next but stock power is still pretty remarkable!

There's not really much MPG difference in the 2.2 or 2.0T is there? It all depends on how heavy your foot is and how fast you want to get there.

Had mine for about 2mths now, Love the 2.0T, It pulls my siggy a treat. As others said, engine has loads more to give and at around £500 for bsr S1 you cant really go wrong. Think theres about 4mpg difference between 2.0T and 2.2 dierct, Well thats the difference between my old mans and mine (both siggys) and his is an auto. HTH. to the site too.

My other car. 1972 1641cc slammed beetle. On the road finally!!

    Thanks all for your comments.

Diet - Why not Evans Halshaw? Bad experience?? Was it the ex Sanderson Motorhouse at Plympton or the Vauxhall dealership?

I have found a couple up country, there seems to be very few around down this part of the world, just reluctant to travel long distance.

I love my Siggy 2.0T, bestest car I've ever had. Great performance pulls like a train in every gear and mpg pretty good for a big motor to - around 26 mpg round town and 41.8 on the motorway (and I dont hang about). Ive not driven the 2.2 but imoa I would go for the turbo all day long.
