Thread: can you run an amp on standard CD30 head unit?

    Default can you run an amp on standard CD30 head unit?

    I only ask as my mates offered my his along with two subs in a box for free!

    Ideally id like to retain the standard headunit & not mess up the dash?

    You can either get a line output convertor and find the wiring from your rear door speakers (colours) in the looms that run either side of your car or straight from the headunit.

    Or if the amps got high level input extend the rear speakers into that.

    gd info there just a quick question if i was to use rear speaker connections for a amp i would lose the sound from the rear doors or do i leave them connected aswell.

    Leave them connected,just splice into them,still get the sound
