I've moved your thread as you had posted it in the 'How 2's' section. That section is specifically for members to post up a step by step guide to a doing a particular job that they have carried out on their car.

Is there a step by step guide on how to do these repairs anywhere on this forum?

I don't know myself but my car had it done by a dealer just before I bought it and I have a receipt for £745.00

I'm assuming it's probably not a quick fix by the amount that VX charged for mine bit I might be wrong

    Think thats very slightly wrong!!!!

Leakoff pipe job approx 1hr labour plus £30 for pipework at dealers (Vx)
Injector seals probably 3hrs at dealers and about £20 for seals,

I know how they're done, the leak off pipes are easy to do but you cant really do the injector seals on your own unless you know how to take the camshaft out.

Leak off pipes are bits of pipe cut to size with plastic tee-connectors on, its just a matter of looking at what you have already and cutting them to size.

    OK - Cool. Thanks

Think I'll change the pipes myself and see how it goes after that

Hi, did the leak off pipes help you at all or do you have to do the seals? Have a problem with starting too and wanted to know how yours went
