Fitting an after market H/U while retaining the trip computer?

I was looking to change the head unit in my Vectra but I would still like to keep the trip computer.

Can it be done?

as long as your car is a face lift full canbus version or half canbus version without sat nav then yes you can.

looking at your profile your car is an 07 so you will need a quadlock connects 2 canbus adapter.

Ah, just worked out that I change the computer from the steering wheel!

as said if you buy the corrct interface then it will all still work through the steering wheel too, imo if you buy a sony HU get the sony interface.....pricey but well worth the extra cash...
