    Default General SatNav Install Questions

    Hi

Someone I know has just bought a new Vectra C (the one with the facelift) which has a SatNav Cd player installed. They had a Corsa C before and I have the cabling for the corsa to iso connections.

    Could someone tell me:
    • Is a new Cd player necessary for adding a subwoofer to the current system or has it got aux connectivity?
    • If not, do I need to buy another cabling convertion set for the Vectra (I have the quad-lock cable for a Corsa)?
    • Will a Corsa C facia fit into a Vectra?
    • Is it a hard job fitting a new Cd player in a Vectra?
    • Are there any Cd players out there that will still make use of the LCD display inside as it seems a shame for it not to be used
    Cheers

    Dan

CD70 has no aux in or out.
Yes, you'll need a line converter or an amp which allows high level inputs.

    Hi

I forgot about high level inputs on amps.
Luckily the amp I will be using has got some.
Just need to check for a third pair of speakers wires on the wiring loom.

    Cheers
