Default what's the difference between Signum & Veccy-C?

I know this might sound like a daft question but what are the differences?

Is the Signum basically a Vectra-C estate but shorter?

I have never seen a Siggy but for what I´ve heard they have more leg room which is kind of hard to imagine do to the short looks of them.

Also being shorter they might have a "tighter" response on the rear end

The Signum uses the same floor pan as the Vectra estate, and have electric movable rear seats.
Someone in the motoring press did call the Signum. The working mans Maybach.
