    Default Starlings have moved in...

Out of the blue a pair of starlings have taken a fancy to the house and moved into awning space between the roofline and the gutter, they're quiet at night but get up dawn and make a din all morning. Is this a pest problem, anyone know the best way to deal with this...?

Pretty sure starlings are classed as vermin.

just place a bit of card board under the nest and let them stay, Nice seeing the wee chicks and if you have kids they will love it.

From the loft I can see them scurrying back and forth along the awning, strange but they wont enter the loft proper, it's as if 'they know' not to fly in there. I'm hoping they will just stay for the summer and buzz off South come winter.
