    Default New Camera

I'm thinking about getting a new camera soon, I've currently got a 3mp camera but the quality isnt that great.

I was thinking of maybe 6-7 megapixels, can anyone recommend any that aren't too expensive, say around £200-£300.

    cheers

    Canon S70 is my recommendation.
Easy to use, but you can do complicated stuff if you want to.
Also take a look at http://www.dpreview.com/ -every digital camera in the world reviewed.

Just as Phil has said - look at www.dpreview.com - that's the link I gave to him in the past.

You can get in depth, independent reviews of loads of cameras and the other models to consider. It all depends what's important to you - size of camera, quality, etc. etc. It'll take a while, but have a really good plough through and you'll soon find the model that fits your bill.

I was here a few months ago looking to upgrade my dc and possibly looking at £200.
After reading loads of reviews I spent slightly less and went for a Kodak Z740 at £160

absolutley best thing I've bought in the last 6 months, great for my needs and using the kodak online gallery has supprised me by being really good and cheap. I really enjoy using it and can't recommend it enough.

Its finding something that matches your needs. Good luck.

Hi, if you want a 6 mp camera, make sure you get a 6 mp camera and not a 6 mp INTERPOLATED one, there is a difference.

I have a Konica Minolta 4mp one, had it about 2 yrs now and it's a gr8 bit of kit, so I would recommend their products to you, the one I have is now out of production so you will have to have a surf and decide for yourself.

I wouldn't. They've just jacked in making cameras all together, stating that the technology moves too fast.

I've got one of these little fellas and it's a cracking camera for the price. You can get it cheaper from ebuyer if you want to give them your money (I wouldn't tho'!).
