Default Is the UK heading towards Anarchy and Mass Demonstrations.

With the current financial position set to continue and IMO to worsen dramatically even further during the next couple of years.
Do you think the Police as reported in the Mail today are realistic in their fears that there will be major public disorder events on a unprecedented scale. Personally I think that reports such as this do more to illicite these events rather than reduce them, unfortunately however I do fear that such a situation as discribed or worse will likely become commonplace in the not too distant future.

As a purely personal view ,when this current labour party is finally kicked into touch ,each off them should be lined up against the wall asset stripped of all the money they have robbed from the british public with there over inflated self selecting pay rises and expense claims ,then given a choice get out of the country and dont come back or if they want to stay send them first to iraq or afganistan and let them sort out the trouble they created.

The Irish have started it by demonstrating against fat cats. It won't be long before we see it over here, unfortunately

Yes, but only if the sun shines for more than 7 days and it get humid, it drives the populous crazy.

Then the demo will be over run by people soley for the purpose of smashing up MacDonalds and Starbuck's

if the daily mail says so, then it must be right. the media are 'public opinion' whatever that is.
as brainless/brainwashed plebs, we are too stupid to make our own minds up, and thus behave in ways the press steer us toward.

having said that, i always admire the French stance of taking no cr@p from the government. if they disagree - they close the ports and motorways! how much good it actually achieves in the long run is questionable though. still, better than moaning to each other in the staff canteen, or internerd forums like this about damn immigrants, taxes, unemployment and the weather?

Way back in 1997, my old mum said that Labour would run this country into the ground. Being young and politically naive, I couldn't see what she was talking about. After all, I had just started University and thought the country was due a change after a lifetime of Tory rule.

Turned out she was right and then some.

And what's with Gordon Brown and flaming prudence. When the economy was flying, he was spending like there was no tomorrow. Now the economy is on it's a**e, he's spending even more. "No more boom and bust" he says. Bet he regrets saying that now.

Thank god he's going to save the world!!!!!
