Firstly I have am looking for a Vectra 2.2i DIRECT SRi in black or silver, I think I have left my options open a little bit , anyway I have been to two different Vauxhall dealers which each had the above car on an 05 plate, so I was kind of expecting the same interior, which is was except the steering wheel controls and the info-display was different. Is this normal?
Basically car 1: three buttons on each side of the steering wheel (i think for the stereo?), more buttons on the right-hand stalk to change the info-display from (i was test driving the car, didn't really look much at the interior) default display, date, miles left and date (radio was off), pressed one of the buttons on the stalk and I think I got a list of about 10 different things on the display?
Car 2: can't remember the buttons as much, but it did have a scrolling wheel on the right hand side the steering wheel, something like the scroll wheel in your mouse! Anyway it had no buttons on the right-hand stalk??? and the display looked blocky?
Why does the same car have different displays and is the guy at the second garage right, when he says that the first car must have the SATNAV version installed? I thought that Vauxhall SATNAV came up with the VAUXHALL badge when you started the car or that because it is in monochrome, not colour??
Last question FLIPKEYS? I thought the Vectra C came with a flip key - neither of the cars had a flip key?
