    Default Which mats?

been looking at mats on epay and there are a few, difficult to tell from pic of the qaulity, would like a good match to the charcoal interior could anyone advise who have bought from ebay or elsewhere.

Also not sure if a new car comes with mats already fitted.

    thanks Ronnie

I would stick with OE mats as they fit the best and are made to last.
I have 3 sets of mats at the moment which are the basic ribbed style in a dark grey colour then a set of rubber mats for the winter and finaly a set of Irmscher mats which are now for summer use. All these mats fit superbly and can be bought with discont from LMF and some dealers like Grassmere in Crewe

I put a set of OE valour mats in my car 4 months ago at a cost of £45 from the dealer and noticed on the drivers mat it's worn through slighty already where your left foot would sit, and only done 2,500 miles in that time. Although i would also agree that OE look and fit much better than after market jobbies. HTH

OE means Original Equipment so thats Vauxhall / Opel and I suppose Irmscher aswell.
Lmf is a trader that specialises in Vauxhalls and can be found under the Approved Trader section on here and you will get a discount ( maybe ) or just keep looking on Ebay and on here as mats do come up for sale

I swopped my worn (well the drivers one was) deep pile VX velour mats for a set of genuine Irmscher ones a few months ago.

TBH, the Irmy ones are pants compared to the VX ones. Yes they look nice but are as stiff as hell and don't mould themselves to the slight contours in the footwells.

Glad I kept my VX ones as they're back in now with duct tape over the hole on the drivers one.
