I painted the VXR front spolier from yourself and the rear VXR bumper spoiler aswell. I used Halfords paint and got a good finish.
If you wanted to ask a bodyshop questions I would be asking on how many coats of Colour and Laquer they put on as you will get a better colour match and finish with more coats and see if they bake it as that gives the best finish and makes the paint very hard.
Have ago yourself, if it goes wrong just let it dry and rub it down and start again.
Or you supply the paint and I do it for you but it wont happen over night.
Trickyvec and Baz07 have seen my paintwork and can vouch how good it turned out and remember mine is black

I have got all the gear but I used Halfords cans as they give a nice result. I also took my time in every step to be sure that I got a finish as close to the cars paint as possible.
To buy the all the paint and thinners ro use in a proper spraygun will seriously cost money and I have only sprayed cellulose like this in the past and that is very hard to get now. The Halfords paint is Accrillic and is nice to use and is also compatable with all other paint types
