Default Tired of this car breaking

howdy all. dnt know about you all but in sick to death of all the problems that come with owning a vectra c.

i now have supension issues. all the shocks are creeking going over bumps. the car pulls to the left realy bad. it sits realy low at the passanger side rear wheel. the front left wheel has play in it and the car handles like sh*t. and to top it off the two rear tyres are egg shape with hardly any tread and the front left is leaking air.

are these cars made to fail. i know this jst seems like a rant but if i was wanting to do a bit of an overhall, what would be all the parts to change.

    cheers Darryl

    Fixed that for you.

Could the suspension problems be something to do with the 45mm lowering springs? Just throwing that out there, you know.

So your lowered 45mm on std shocks and expect them to last forever? Thats probably why it handles like ****e.

Whats the rear tyre shape got to do with the car? thats a tyre issue, as is the front one leaking air.

Most of these problems could have been created by the owner, not the car breaking.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

your prob right, though out of all the cars ive owned this has to of been the most troublesome. the tyre issue was thrown in there to emphasise the bad luck im having with the car. i could also of put that my wife hit a wall the other day and scretched the hell out the front bumper.

    ZS yeh good point mate.

Dose if al these parts are to be replaced is there any other parts that would be worth changing ie wishbones, bushies etc.

Fair point but most of these new problems do seem a tad self inflicted. Fingers crossed you get it all sorted and it runs nice and sweet for you

darryl, hiya matey, i had a landrover freelander prior to my 1.8 `02 veccy 140k on clock. WOW THE FREELANDERS ARE EXPENSIVE TO RUN AND KEEP ON THE ROAD, i`m sure once you`ve it sorted out you`ll enjoy it, has it any service history? mines high milage but its an ex lease car with all the dealer receipts, thats the way to go for me in my next veccy, you know if somethings gone wrong they will not cut short on putting it right, good luck sorting it out
