    Default creamy looking filler cap

    hi there gguys i have had my 04 gsi now for about 6 weeks took back to the dealers today cheecked the oil and found that there was a creamy looking gundge on the cap and in the filler pipe dealer had a look and said it was more than likely moisture . then proceeded to do a check with som tool and said that if it turns yellow in colour it was the head gasket didint turn yellow was still a light blue green in colour said looks like the starting of the head gasket on the way out wil find out for def tom . has any one else found this prob or is it the norm

    LOL, don't fret mate....

    It's completely normal for a 3.2V6 at this time of year..as per the posts on the other page of this thread, if you don't like seeing it there, then just remove the filler neck and put the cap directly onto the cam covers, and the problem will never show itself again....

    got the car back from the dealers today they have done all the checks everything is ok it is just condensation build p in the filler neck
