Got some alloy valve caps - which appear stuck. Will penetrating oil loosen them up??
Not bothered if I trash them as they are getting binned anyway!

WD40 should clear up anything but be careful not to spray the brakes
signum_1.9 maybe a daf question, but they arnt the anti theft ones with locking screws are they ?
No - just screw ons
mine was stuck on m8, i used mole grips
i used moles before but i agree with JSYSH466Y, be carefull, spray with wd40, work them, dont just heave at them, back and forward, as if your working a tap or dye.
I had the same problem a while back, the alloy corrodes and welds itself onto the valve,i cut mine off with a small hacksaw blade, lesson learnt, always use copper grease now.......
If they were cheap ones they will have rusted on. I had a £1 set that rusted on- had to get all the valves taken off at a tyre fitters costing £20+!!! There is a moral to the story............
