Default Well i did try to de-fog the headlights....

after reading some threads on here about how different members de-fogged their pre facelifts horrible foggy headlights i thought i would give it a go as quiet at work on saturday afty, so got the car in the workshop, popped the bonnet, took the 2 rear covers off the back of each light, stuck 2 sheets of a4 over each lense turn the lights on (full beam included)and heated with large blow heaters for over 2hrs! now after this amount of time all the condensation had gone from both lights so i left 4 hrs to cool down(back to garage temperature) then put 1 of those silica gel packs in each headlight, then rear covers back on. just been out with the dog before work (5.30am!!) and the 4king lights are fogged up to **** again, any ideas if i did anything wrong in the above method? sorry about camera phone pics.

I find that when I "push" the plastic lens in on my drivers headlamp, its soft and I get a "woosh" sound, like air being sucked in / pushed out. I dont get this on the passenger's side, it feels firmer. I only have a moisture problem with my drivers side and think I need to replace it now.

I am not sure i dont experience the problem, however condensation is a result of moisture which is found in air, if you have treated it already then i would imagine there is a leak somewhere it may only be a pin hole but it will let air in and moisture

Not yet, Its not too bad, just need to align my panels/bumper again, got a few cm's gap and the bonnet is a little bent on the corner. Just need to find out how to do it LOL. I had help last time! The dozy cow reversed into, (Didnt see it apparently) then thought she was not giving it enough power as it was up hill, what she was doing was PUSHING into my car! ARGGHHHH! I know I need a new headlamp anyway as a lug broke on top.
