    Default Any bikers bought these...

Just got some new gloves today ready for the biking jollies as my old ones are dropping to bits. Got some Alpinestars GP Plus. Anyone have/had these? What's your reviews?

Alpinestars are the only brand of glove I've owned where the stitching in the glove has had to be repaired, having started to fray and unravel through "wear and tear" - they were only a year old at the time.

They weren't GP Plus but a pair of the more expensive GP Pro.

Having said that, once repaired they have been very comfy and also crashed well

Over priced for what they are. Much better makes available for less money.

Well they've had an outing this morning and they were pretty comfy. Hands didn't get sweaty. They don't feel like they'd come off easily in a tumble. First impressions are very good

Alpinestars are good, but I find they tend to stretch too much

Spada are a good make, and there importer is only 10 mins away, so any probs I go direct to them

for winter gloves, Buy HELD FREEZER, nothing better

With reference to the stretching, I had been told that a/stars were made a bit on the small side so to bear that in mind and when I tried my usual large on they felt too tight, I know they stretch but I don't think they would have stretched enough. Tried the Xlarge on and they were comfortably tight if you get me. So hopefully they will stretch to be just right
