Good stuff! It's great to get things to a point where you can see real progress.
Yeah we are pleased
Should look really good when done, im a bit OCD and it has to be near as damn it perfect so updates will be less frequent, however once started ill work for hours on end, painted the kitchen till 6am one day did one wall 3 times as i wasnt happy lol
lookin good
So it's a case of measure twice, then check it, then measure twice more, then consider which drill bit (e.g.) from the selection, compare with wall plugs, find alternative plugs , compare again, check choice of drill bit, measure again, drill pilot holes, measure, drill final holes, etc etc.
Just like me. Took me two hours to cut a 225x150 airvent into a wall on Sunday...
(Fischer wall fittings BTW for basins - good'n'strong; could swing all day from then even without a pedestal support)
Cheers T ill give those a look up.
Yeah i tend to double, triple check then think about it but result is usually
a decent job
Ficher bolts are more than strong enough to hold its weight but just the top part of the stand may not be. It may be worth testing it first. If it is then great, if not you'll need to find a way to strengthen it.(from behind and underneath so the work would be hidden) people tend to lean on sinks when they are using them. Will look awsome when its done.
My plan is to use a brackert as said underneath the unit and then to the wall
Can only but try
Sorry, diddnt see that bit. Should do the job well enough.
look's like my average day tbh.......a couple more day's faffing and the missus will be happy with possition's and tile choice....lol
