    Default Best bodge competiotion

well guys thought we'd see who has done the best bodge lol

mine was on a 1975mini clubman 1000 (at the time later 1275) well the pipe came off the fuel pump in the middle of cardif at 3am with 3 drunk mates in the car lol i had to rip my top and tie the pipe to the fuel pump as the brass collip had come out lol by the time i got home id used over half a tank of petrol my mates were hammered and now intoxicated with fumes (they were all asleep and woke up with headaches anyway) i'd accidently left my boot open while looking for **** to bodge with so id lost my tool box and my gym bag and my brand new stereo (still in box) and my shirt was in tatters. i'd never been so glad to get home.

HT leads on a friends Rover 216 - 2 were loose for some reason and wouldnt lock on the plugs so obviously run poorly, so i found some stones that i placed on top of the HT leads, screwing the cover down on them to push the leads down hard onto the plug.

Car went on for ages ! lol

Fibre-glass clagged into the rusting front arches of my first Firenza - 'skilfully' moulded to look almost completely noticeable - I couldn't even get the groove around the wheel arch to match in width. Still, spray it with white Hammerite and hope it doesn't rust through before the paint dries... (Polar White wasn't quite the same as Hammerite white, but let's face it, I wasn't going for concourse awards)

By the time I got to filling Cav rear arches, my skills with the P40 had improved.

A guy I worked with back in the dim and distant filled a hole in his Mini Clubman estate inner wing with expanding foam - and used too much. It expanded in through just about every grommet, and he had to cut it away from his front tyre in order to steer...
