    Default right, need some advice.

got towed by the aa last week, long story short fault codes p0301 & p0302 cylinder 1 & 2 misfire. aa diagnose as coil pack. went to dealer order part and it finally comes today. fitted, no differenc. thank you aa am now £70 down and no closer to finding what is wrong

now the advice. what could be causing a misfire on more than one cylinders? had emissions light on so looks like some unburnt mixturein the system

It can't be spark plugs comuters can't detect them And he is showing a code. It has to be injectors or a wiring fault. The only way to eliminate is to take injectors out of 3 4 if poss and swap around.

is your engine the z22yh ? if so you may have a high pressure fuel pump problem. i have had this fault before, although there is usually trouble p1191 fuel rail presure sensor stored aswel, but not always. you will be able to see within the data list on tech 2( if you know anyone with one!) a faulty fuel pump is quite easy to detect on the data list!

could be a head gasket problem as if the gasket is gone between the 2 cylinders,as to the coil pack if this does go down it will cause a misfire in cylinders 1 and 4,2 and 3,never 1 and 2 or 2 and 4 ,what you need to do is get a compression check done
