    Default air con: radiator

Does anyone know how to drain the air con radiator? reason being my son has a saab 93 which is almost the same air con and cooling system as a veccy and he`s had a bit of a bump which has split the water rad but not the air con rad, although the air con rad is well bent, to save his insurance etc i`m putting a new xmember and water rad on but the a/c rad will have to come off and he aint bothered about the a/c working straight away any help will be appreciated

You need to get it done by the garage mate as its basically freon in there.... its very much illegal to vent it into the atmosphere on purpose.

The garage collect it somehow then send it off for disposal

134a gas they use now is not so bad as what they use to use but it is hevier than air so sinks so not a good idea to be under the car if gas is coming out

the old gas is sucked out and kept in the machine and reused
