Default DVD Headrests/Hiding wires down chair?

I am thinking of buying these from fleabay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ies%26_fvi%3D1

and just wondering if anyone has had any experience of them, are they well put together and are they east to fit?

Is it easy to hide the wires down the inside of the seat does anyone know, I have a Vectra on a 57 plate, do they just come out the bottom?

Could anyone tell me the diameter of the headrest tubes?

    Thanks for any help

    Gareth

i fitted something like this to a mate's car, they come with adaptor's for the headrest tube's and if you remove the back of the seat then they are a doddle to fit, look for a thread by SHAN to see how he did them, they are a nice piece of kit and work well.....

Ok, I have had a quick look and can feed wires down the headrest tubes and out the bottom of the seat no trouble at all. But my next question is how can I hard wire them in? will the rear cigarette socket come apart so I can wire it in there? Any help would be great...

    Thanks

If you have a look at this thread you will see the panel. It's not the best photo but will give you an idea, just open the ashtray and pull the panel, came off for me,

If it doesn't make sense I'll go out after dinner and take some pics for you,

Had a quick play today (so to speak!!) and yeah got the panel off easily...never took any notice of what colour wires go to the cigarette lighter is it just red for live and brown for earth/neutral?

Just trying to get everything sorted so they are easy to fit when they arrive.

    Thanks

Glad you got it off, I think they are just brown and black but I can't really remember. Sure somebody will be along soon with the answer.
