Default Is the Vec C suspension setup at the front same as a Vec B?

    My Eibachs have arrived!

Going home to fit them in the next hour! Ive lower loads of Vectra Bs, i was hoping that the C is going to be the same?

Ive heard they are different at the rear? Possibly easier than a Vectra B? But are they the same up front?

Is there anything i need to know or watch out for different to the B?

    Cheers guys!

Excited to get her down a bit now, and get rid of these crap springs the MOT place fitted!

The rear is easy, the dampers can be done without removing the rear wheels! Spring compressors are needed though

I would have thought the fronts would be basically the same - ball joints, springs etc

Ugrh! Hope there isnt any ball joints to do.... i hate em!

    On the B,

    1. disconnect drop link.
    2. two nuts on bottom of shock.
    3. Nut in strut top in engine bay.
    4. Shock out
    5. Spring clamps on etc.. do the business.

The rear you had to remove the whole arch liner, shocker everything! ****ty job really! Sounds like the rears are much easier now..

Only thing i found easier to do on the C is to crack the top nut loose on the top of the shock before taking the leg out

Cheers, yeh i normally do that on the deck anyway.... They should come appart OK! It was MOT'd the week before i got it, and had a cracked spring so they put new springs in... god nows whats in it... but its sat higher than an LS, let alone a SRi!

How many bolts on the rear? Just the shocker.. then leg down and spring out??

    Default

One bolt at the end of the trailing arm, through the bush, then swing it down, takes some force to hold down, lift spring out... fitting is the reverse of removal
